The Challenge
Axora was a global technology marketplace for heavy industry, helping businesses to discover, evaluate, procure and deploy technology from all over the world. As one of their goals, they wanted to create and publish thought leadership that would be of use and value to their target market, in particular the oil and gas and metals and mining industries.
To achieve this, Axora initially enlisted the help of a market research firm to conduct surveys of more than 300 people from each industry sector, with participants ranging from business leaders to technical specialists. The questions focused on the state of digital transformation and innovation within the given fields. Once the surveys were complete, the market research firm presented their findings through headline discussions and broad presentation of the results.
We were then brought in to comb through the findings and create Innovation Forecast reports that could be used for sales, marketing and PR purposes.
Our Approach
Working with subject matter experts within Axora, we reviewed the qualitative and quantitative research and then developed an outline on how the findings could be presented as content that would be relevant, clear and engaging for the target audience.
From that, we drafted a full report for each sector, which acted as the basis for ongoing marketing campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
The Results
Based on the success of the reports, we continued to support Axora with their metals and mining sector innovation forecasts for two more years.
